Death: Please send us a certified true copy of the death certificate. This will not remove the deceased person's name from the
loan; it will simply place the account in "The Estate Of." Please contact Customer Care
at 1-800-848-9136 for additional information.
Divorce: Please send us a certified true copy of the recorded deed conveying interest in the property, a copy of the recorded/filed divorce decree, a copy of the current hazard policy in the remaining party's name and a $50.00 transfer fee.
Note:
Liability on the mortgage obligation does not change unless a release of liability assumption is requested and approved.
Estates/trusts: Please send
us a certified true copy of the Revocable Living Trust showing the current mortgagors as the
beneficiaries; a certified true copy of the Recorded Warranty deed from the current owner(s) to the Living
Trust; and a transfer fee of $50.00 for FHA/VA
loans (or $100.00 for Conventional loans).
Name change due to marriage,
resumption of former name or naturalization:
